Is calcium sulfite precipitated or slightly soluble?

Calcium sulfite precipitation.

Calcium sulfite is a kind of sulfite, which is reducible and can be used as bleaching agent and filler for calcium-plastic board. Calcium sulfite is insoluble in water, so calcium sulfite precipitates. Calcium sulfite dissolves in strong acid, releasing toxic sulfur dioxide gas. It is used to make calcium plastic materials, and also used as bleaching dechlorination agent, food preservative and fermentation bactericide for cellulose products.

The purpose of calcium sulfite is:

1. react with calcium chloride and sodium sulfite in solution, filter, isolate air, and dry to obtain anhydrous calcium sulfite solid. It can also be obtained by chemical reaction of sulfur dioxide and calcium hydroxide. Chemical reaction equation: SO2+Ca (OH) 2 = caso3 ↓+H2O.

2. Boiled at100℃, with strong air permeability, free passage of water molecules, strong adsorption, deep and large-scale purification, killing various pathogenic bacteria in water, inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacterial microorganisms, and having strong adsorption on toxic and harmful metal ions and bacterial viruses. It is the first choice product for dechlorination and purification equipment manufacturers of tap water for water purification, filling the blank of infinite antibacterial and mildew prevention at home and abroad.

3. Widely used in Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Taiwan Province and other Southeast Asian countries and regions. Because of these characteristics, it can be used as analytical reagents, calcium plastic materials, bleaching dechlorination agents for cellulose products, food preservatives, fermentation fungicides and so on. It can also be used as a filter medium to treat various industrial sewage, industrial water, city tap water, pure water and soft water.

4. Calcium sulfite ball calcium sulfite particle dechlorination ball calcium sulfite is mainly used to remove residual chlorine in water, including compound residual chlorine NH2Cl, NHCl2, NCl3 and free residual chlorine ClO, HClO (hypochlorous acid) and Cl2 (chlorine).

Calcium sulfite hemihydrate is one of the main mineral components of dry desulfurization ash produced by dry desulfurization process.
