Chemical equipment can usually be divided into two categories: ① chemical machinery. Refers to the main role of the parts for the movement of machinery, such as a variety of filters, crushers, centrifugal separators, rotary kilns, mixers, rotary dryers, and fluid transportation machinery. ② chemical equipment. Refers to the main role of the parts are static or only little movement of machinery, such as a variety of containers (tanks, tanks, kettles, etc.), ordinary kilns, towers, reactors, heat exchangers, ordinary dryers, evaporators, reactors, electrolysis tanks, crystallization equipment, mass transfer equipment, adsorption equipment, fluidization equipment, general separation equipment, and ion exchange equipment and so on. The division of chemical machinery is not strict, some fluid transportation machinery (such as pumps, fans and compressors, etc.) in the chemical sector is often called chemical machinery, but at the same time they are a variety of industrial production of general machinery. Modern chemical equipment design and manufacturing, in addition to relying on the development of mechanical engineering and materials engineering, but also closely related to the development of chemical processes and chemical engineering. The quality, yield and cost of chemical products, to a large extent, depends on the degree of perfection of chemical equipment, and the characteristics of chemical machinery itself must be able to adapt to the chemical process often encountered in the high temperature, high pressure, high vacuum, ultra-low pressure, flammable, explosive and strong corrosive and other special conditions. Modern chemical industry requires chemical machinery: ① with continuous operation of the safety and reliability. ② in certain operating conditions (such as temperature, pressure, etc.) with sufficient mechanical strength. (iii) has excellent corrosion resistance. ④ Good sealing. ⑤ High efficiency and low energy consumption.
In general, the proportion of each specialty is as follows: civil construction 7-8% to more than 15%, generally about 10%;
Electrical 5% or so; instrumentation 15-20% piping 15-20%;
M equipment 30-40%;
The proportion of the various specialties vary with the different products.
