What is BF equipment?

BF equipment flotation machine, referred to as flotation concentrator, is a kind of mechanical equipment used in flotation process.

The pulp treated by dosing in flotation machine is aerated by stirring, so that some ore particles are selectively fixed on bubbles; Float to the surface of the pulp and be scraped out to form foam products, and the rest are left in the pulp to achieve the purpose of separating minerals. There are many structural forms of flotation machine, the most commonly used one is mechanical stirring flotation machine.

The main features of BF flotation machine keep the advantages of "A" flotation machine in self-suction of air and pulp, and there is no need for ladder configuration and foam pump for middling return. However, compared with "A" flotation machine, it has the advantages of large suction, low impeller circumferential speed, large gap between impeller and cover plate and light wear. The use of this kind of flotation machine can facilitate the flow layout, especially suitable for small and medium-sized concentrator with complex flow and many separation stages.

Extended data

The flotation machine is driven by the motor V-belt to rotate the impeller, which produces centrifugal effect to form negative pressure. On the one hand, enough air is inhaled to mix with the pulp, on the other hand, the pulp is stirred to mix with the medicine, and at the same time, the foam is refined, so that minerals attach to the foam and float to the surface of the pulp to form mineralized foam. Adjust the gate height, control the liquid level, and let the useful foam be scraped out by the scraper.

Coal slime and chemicals are fully mixed and transported to the bottom of the tank in the first chamber of the flotation machine. After the impeller rotates, negative pressure is formed in the wheel cavity, so that the pulp at the bottom of the tank and in the tank respectively enters the mixing area from the lower suction port and the upper suction port of the impeller, and the air also enters the mixing area along the deflector, where the pulp, air and chemicals are mixed.

Under the centrifugal force of the impeller, the mixed pulp enters the mineralized area, and the air forms bubbles and is crushed, and fully contacts with the coal particles to form mineralized bubbles. The mineralized bubbles are uniformly distributed in the cross section of the tank body under the action of the stator and the spoiler, and move upward into the separation area to enrich and form a foam layer, which is discharged by the foam scraping mechanism to form clean coal foam.
