Unboxing
When we got the scanner i360, we first took out a batch of accessories in addition to the main body, including a quick installation guide, three-package voucher, two driver disks, data cable, power supply, and power cord. It's worth noting that driver installation isn't as much of a hassle as many people think. You don't necessarily have to use an optical drive, but you can also go to the official website and download it, and then basically all you have to do is follow the prompts and click next. With the help of the quick installation guide, unfamiliar I don't' I don't know anything about computers and can't operate it easily.
When we took out the body of the MIC Scanner i360, the body was covered with a protective film with a label reminding us not to use the scanner hastily, but to open the lens lock first and refer to the installation guide.
According to the guide, we can find a black security lock on the bottom of the body. This safety lock is a mechanical device to protect the scanner lens during transportation. Press the security lock with your finger and slide it to the position of the unlock symbol. Although this scanner weighs only 2.14kg, you can adjust its position very easily. However, if you are transporting it over long distances, it is recommended to open the safety lock to protect the lens in case of accidents.
Brief Appearance Review with Texture
When we simply unboxed and opened the security lock, we could see the clean and airy appearance of the Crystal Scanner i360. The appearance of this scanner is quite textured with a black piano mirror finish, and the body is not too big to be placed in a study or bedroom. Except for the bright yellow decorative line at the bottom, there is only the logo and the model in the center, and the overall view is quite simple.
The buttons of the Crystal Scanner i360 are placed in the center of the right side of the front, which is quite organized. From bottom to top are the power button, scan button, print button, mail button, OCR button, PDF button, WEB button, and two indicator lights below the power button.
Of course we configured the computer and then lifted the top cover of the MIC Scanner i360 to make it work. Opening the top cover of the scanner reveals the glass panel. The scanning format of this MIC Scanner i360 is A4 and the scanning range is 216mm*297mm. basically it can scan both books and magazines. In addition, this scanner has a removable flip cover, which can be used for partial scanning of large objects or scanning of large objects.
Simple experience, easy for newbies
The WI i360 scanner, a very affordable scanner, doesn't seriously shrink in terms of configuration. It uses a CCD image sensor with 48-bit color hardware for 281 trillion colors. It takes only 6 seconds to complete a full-frame scan and the LED light source allows for zero warm-up. The whole process is fairly simple. We plugged in the power supply, connected the two ends of the USB cable to the scanner and the computer with the ScanWizard EZ software pre-installed, and then pressed and held down the scanner's power button for a while, the scanner indicator light would come on, and the scanner would start scanning.
ScanWizard EZ, as the software developed by WI for the scanner, has three modes: Simple Mode, Advanced Mode, and Professional Mode. If you are not familiar with the color and other parameters, you can completely use the Simple Mode without a lot of setting options. It's perfect for scanning novices who can get started easily.
As the first scanning of the new machine, I first picked up the three-package voucher of the WI i360 scanner and scanned it. For such a simple text, the simple mode is fully competent, and the whole process from putting in the scanned document to scanning the image is less than a minute, which is quite convenient and fast. The actual effect is due to the 4800 dpi resolution of the Zoomview i360 scanner, the characters are clear and sharp, without blurring or broken characters. The scanning effect is quite good, and it is fully capable of handling the task of scanning our daily books, receipts and other things into the computer. In addition, the WI i360 scanner is prepared with OCR character recognition for this type of scanned text, which allows you to recognize these types of characters and edit them at will, which is quite useful in some cases.
In-depth use, good capability
After using Simple Mode, I then tried Advanced Mode and Professional Mode. The advanced mode actually worked quite well. Among them, the advanced mode adopts a 9-square design, displaying the effect graphs of different preset scanning parameters in real time, and showing us the final effect directly, which is quite user-friendly. Meanwhile, on the left side of the 9-square, there are some simple attributes that can be adjusted, which basically meets all daily needs. It is worth mentioning that the black and white format in the 9-square preset scanning parameters also provides three different options, which is very practical when used to print things on a daily basis.
Professional mode after the advanced mode, for many people is not very friendly, the function is more complex, including Internet access, color enhancement, black and white point settings and other various image processing functions. I believe it can meet the processing needs of professionals. Meanwhile, if there are old photos to be scanned into the computer, you can turn on the automatic color restoration mode in the professional mode. Auto color reduction results in higher color reproduction and detail in photo images.
The following color calendar is a picture I scanned into the computer with automatic color reproduction, and the overall result is quite good. As you can see from this picture, the color handling of the WI's scanner i360 is quite good, the colors are clear and pure enough, and there are no uneven colors. I'm very satisfied.
In addition to common prints, my coworker, my little friend, just came to the office to play with his school's hand-drawn drawings. I scanned them with the WI i360 scanner. From the final scanning result, the children's brush marks are clearly reproduced, and we can even see the blank spots in the paintings and the strength of the images. The details are quite rich. Also thanks to the 48-bit color of the ZTE i360 scanner, the crayon's color reproduction is quite spot on, with no color breaks or missing colors, which makes it quite satisfying.
In addition to the lighter colors, I still use the darker quotworks quot with the Sinokyo i360 scanner. In this image, we can see that the darker colors were also handled well with the WI-SEC i360 scanner, with both dark and light colors reproduced well. Overall, the Nakagishi i360 scanner also does a good job of scanning hand-drawn artwork, making it perfect for rescuing children's handiwork or items such as handwritten letters as fond memories of a child's upbringing.
Summary
As a relatively close-priced scanner, the ZTE ZTE i360 Scanner doesn't shrink significantly in terms of scanning volume or scanning results, and its overall operation is simple enough. Plus its good face value makes me quite happy. If you are white scanner, but want to keep old photos and children's paintings at home better, give children more memories, then this Zhongjing i360 scanner is quite forgiving. Now that 618 is near, I believe I won't regret getting a scanner like this, it's worth keeping an eye on.
