What is the sign of the smoking area?

There are generally two lines on the sign: "Smoking area" and "Smoking is harmful to health", as shown below. The following provisions shall be observed in setting up smoking rooms or delineating smoking areas:

(a), in line with fire safety requirements;

(2) Set up obvious signs;

(3) Effectively separated from non-smoking rooms and non-smoking areas;

(four), away from crowded areas, pedestrians must pass through the main channel;

(5) Installation of independent and effective ventilation devices;

(six), the configuration of ashtray, and placed "smoking is harmful to health" sign.

Harmful substance

As we all know, smoking is harmful to health. A research result of a foreign psychological research institution shows that the intelligence efficiency of smokers is lower than that of non-smokers 10.6%. Different cigarettes release different chemicals when they are lit, but the main chemicals are tar and carbon monoxide. Harmful substances produced by cigarette ignition can be roughly divided into six categories:

(1), aldehydes, nitrides, olefins, which can stimulate the respiratory tract.

(2) Nicotine can stimulate sympathetic nerve and make smokers dependent.

(3) Amines, cyanide and heavy metals are all toxic substances.

(4), phenylpropyl pyrene, arsenic, cadmium, methylhydrazine, aminophenol and other radioactive substances. These substances are carcinogenic.

(5), phenolic compounds and formaldehyde. These substances have the effect of accelerating cancer.

(6) Carbon monoxide will reduce the ability of red blood cells to transport oxygen to the whole body.
