Eyes: Healthy cats have bright eyes, no tears, no secretions, and the left and right eyes are the same size.
Ears: The ears are clean and upright (except Scottish cats with broken ears), with little or no earwax and no other foreign objects. Healthy cats should be sensitive to their owners' calls or other sounds in a quiet state, and their ears will swing back and forth after hearing the sounds. Sick cats or deaf cats hardly respond to sounds.
Nose: A healthy cat's nose should be wet and cold without too much secretion. When the nose is dry, it means that the cat may have a fever (such as an infectious disease). But the cat's nose is dry when it sleeps.
Oral cavity: the oral cavity should be clean and dry, free of saliva and food, free of bad breath, with pink gums, tongue and palate, white or yellowish teeth and no teeth.
Skin and coat: the skin of healthy cats is soft and elastic, and the skin temperature is neither too hot nor too cold, which is mild and suitable for hands. The coat is thick, soft and shiny, without bald spots, and the skin is not red or swollen. There are no parasites like lice and fleas.
