The Tuberculosis Department has 135 beds and a complete tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment plan. In 1980s, the national cooperative research on short-term chemotherapy initiated the first short-term chemotherapy for tuberculosis in China, which made the chemotherapy for tuberculosis in China reach the international first-class level. In recent years, it is unique in multidrug resistance treatment, chemotherapy for senile pulmonary tuberculosis and treatment of extrapulmonary tuberculosis, and it is at the leading level in domestic peers. It has a strong professional and technical team composed of well-known experts, doctoral students and master students at home and abroad, combining basic and clinical work.

In the past 50 years, it has won the National Invention Award 10. As a key discipline, it is undertaking the national key project of the Tenth Five-Year Plan, the research on the implementation of tuberculosis in China by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health and how to improve the patient detection rate in general hospitals, and the feasibility study on the treatment of tuberculosis with fixed dose compound preparation. He has published more than 200 papers in national magazines, nearly 300 articles in conference exchanges and general magazines, participated in the writing of Modern Tuberculosis as a national drug clinical research base, and carried out clinical verification of many new anti-tuberculosis drugs. Among them, the clinical research of rifapentine won the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award. Oncology beds 123, divided into general wards, emergency wards and aseptic laminar flow wards. There are 24 general practitioners, 4 chief physicians, 4 deputy chief physicians, 7 attending physicians and 8 graduate students.

Oncologists can skillfully use modern medical technologies such as CT, MRI, PET, ECT, fiberoptic bronchoscopy and lung puncture to diagnose and differentiate various difficult chest diseases, and the correct diagnosis rate is over 90%.

In the clinical treatment of lung cancer, the short-term effective rate of small cell lung cancer can reach 70-80%, the five-year survival rate of comprehensive treatment including surgery can reach about 3 1-34%, and the short-term effective rate of advanced non-small cell lung cancer can reach about 30-40%. In the treatment of malignant pleural effusion, oncology has its own uniqueness, and the puncture rate of pleural effusion is over 90%, which is the leading level in China.

As one of the national tumor clinical pharmacology institutions designated by the US Food and Drug Administration, the oncology department has carried out a large number of clinical trials of new anti-tumor drugs, so that hospitalized tumor patients have the opportunity to receive the latest drug treatment at home and abroad earlier.

Published more than 100 oncology papers in national core journals. At present, oncology is doing a lot of scientific research to explore the early diagnosis methods of lung cancer and the methods of detecting and correcting multidrug resistance, so that patients can get greater clinical benefits. Thoracic surgery was founded in 1955 and presided over by many well-known scholars and experts at home and abroad. The total number of beds in thoracic surgery is *** 174, which is the largest clinical base of general thoracic surgery in China. There are 20 thoracic surgeons, including 5 chief physicians, 9 deputy chief physicians, 2 attending physicians and 4 residents. In the fifty years since the establishment of thoracic surgery, * * * has completed nearly 17000 cases of thoracic surgery. Among them, 8000 cases of lung cancer were operated, the resection rate was 97.3% and the mortality rate was 0.87%. The overall five-year survival rate was 34.6%. In recent years, the average number of surgical cases is more than 600 cases/year, ranking the top three in the business volume of thoracic surgery in Beijing. The surgical treatment of chest tumor and tuberculosis is at the leading level in China, especially the surgical treatment of advanced lung cancer and huge invasive mediastinal tumor, which promotes the development and progress of clinical chest surgery in China. Clinical studies such as pneumonectomy, bronchial stump suture, pneumonectomy with acupuncture anesthesia, autologous blood transfusion by hemodilution, experimental study of canine lung transplantation, and esophagogastrostomy of esophageal bed after left thoracic resection of esophageal cancer have won many national, municipal and bureau-level scientific and technological achievements 10. In 2000, it was supported by the key discipline project of lung cancer in Beijing.

The project "Surgical treatment of thoracic tumor invading superior vena cava system" won the second prize of scientific and technological progress in Beijing in 2005.

Successfully hosted many large-scale academic conferences including national lung cancer, tuberculosis and regional conferences; National continuing education project: new technology and new progress class of thoracic surgery and anesthesiology, with students from many provinces and regions in China. Orthopedics has been engaged in basic research and clinical diagnosis and treatment of bone tuberculosis for more than 50 years, and it is unique in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult cases such as drug resistance, recurrence and sinus delay, and is at the leading level in China.

In the 1960s, China took the lead in using thoracotomy to treat thoracic tuberculosis, and in the 1990s, China took the lead in using short-term therapy to treat bone tuberculosis. A lot of practice has been done for the study of drug resistance and short-term chemotherapy of bone tuberculosis, which has provided a solid theoretical basis and rich clinical experience for the diagnosis and treatment of bone tuberculosis. The standardized treatment scheme of bone and joint tuberculosis has been summarized and popularized, especially the full application of new technologies and methods in recent years, which has opened up a broad prospect for the diagnosis and treatment of bone and joint tuberculosis. With the gradual maturity of internal fixation technology, the application of minimally invasive technology (thoracoscope) in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal tuberculosis, and the emergence of new technologies such as joint replacement and joint tuberculosis, patients have achieved good therapeutic effects. There are 60 beds in the general department, including 3/kloc-0 beds for special needs.

In the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis, we have accumulated systematic experience in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and severe tuberculosis, senile tuberculosis, multidrug-resistant tuberculosis and complications and complications of tuberculosis, and reached the advanced level in this field.

In the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, we have followed the principle of multidisciplinary treatment of lung cancer and carried out basic scientific research on lung cancer, so that lung cancer patients can get early diagnosis and treatment in time. Individualized treatment has been taken for special groups such as elderly lung cancer patients with serious basic diseases, and the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer has reached the international level.

The special needs ward undertakes the treatment of foreign guests and special needs patients in 22 countries. Health education and disease education were given to patients, which promoted the communication between doctors and patients and made the clinical work more orderly.

In recent ten years, he has published 20 papers in core journals and trained 26 senior doctors. The general medical department has 26 beds, mainly treating patients with tuberculosis and respiratory diseases. It has certain advantages in the differential diagnosis of tuberculosis, tuberculous meningitis, tuberculosis-related diseases, lung infection and lung diseases.

In order to adapt to the development of the hospital, based on the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis, general internal medicine actively treats patients with respiratory diseases such as lung infection, airway disease and interstitial lung disease, and develops new technologies such as non-invasive ventilation treatment, and gradually completes the transformation to respiratory department.

Published 9 papers in core journals in recent three years. Train 18 senior doctors for hospitals at all levels in China. Radiotherapy department is one of the earliest departments in China to carry out linear accelerator treatment. About 8,000 patients with various tumors were treated, and rich clinical experience was accumulated, and good therapeutic effects and social benefits were achieved. 2 1 century, we cooperated with Beijing Institute of Medical Devices to develop the first three-dimensional radiotherapy planning system with complete intellectual property rights in China. The application of the system has achieved satisfactory therapeutic effect, which has made the radiotherapy level of tumor leap to a new level.

At present, it has two linear accelerators, an X-ray simulator, a spiral CT locator, a stereotactic radiotherapy planning system, a three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy planning system, an endogenous tumor hyperthermia system and other related auxiliary equipment. Anesthesiology is the first-line clinical department of the hospital, with a master's degree. Mainly responsible for providing first-class clinical anesthesia for thoracic surgery and orthopedics, and providing clinical treatment such as rescue and resuscitation for all departments in the hospital. At present, anesthesia expertise is at the leading level in China. Five graduate students have been trained.

In particular, he has rich theoretical knowledge and clinical experience in double-lumen bronchial catheter anesthesia, one-lung ventilation and respiratory management, as well as anesthesia, rescue and resuscitation of various acute, difficult, dangerous and severe thoracic surgery. In recent years, with the introduction of foreign advanced anesthesia machines and monitors, the monitoring technology of circulation and respiratory function during anesthesia has been in line with international standards, ensuring the life safety of patients during perioperative period. Actively carry out postoperative pain treatment to relieve the pain caused by surgical trauma.

The official opening of the new operating building in September 2002 marked a new era of operating room modernization. The new operating room has eight highly clean operating rooms, which can provide excellent operating environment and excellent professional technical services for patients and surgeons in thoracic surgery and orthopedics. Nearly 1,000 operations are completed every year, of which thoracic surgery accounts for 85%, and the general anesthesia rate is 90%.
