Recommended practice:
1. In this activity, our team members can stick to the last day, and they have no complaints, are down-to-earth and are willing to bear hardships during the whole process of participating in the activity!
2. Due to the arrangement of activities, different division of labor and cooperation are carried out every day, giving full play to the role of a team. Qi Xin works together, unites and cooperates, and can help teammates in trouble in time. When the team was a little depressed, they encouraged and cheered each other and spent an unforgettable four days together.
3. The next day, the atmosphere at the scene was very warm, indicating that people have a strong demand for understanding their emotions, personality and interpersonal communication through psychological tests. Throughout the morning, there were an endless stream of visitors in our psychological measurement area, including citizens, young students and children brought by parents. They are eager to know their own psychology, find out their own problems, and eagerly expect us to give reasonable explanations and some coping methods. Our volunteers also try their best to serve the community residents, and their attitude and quality have been recognized by everyone.
4. The blackboard newspaper exhibition area in the exhibition area is responsible for publicity. While distributing leaflets, introduce the contents of our mental health association to students, teachers and parents, and publicize mental health knowledge;
Volunteers in the exhibition area occupied the roadside with a pile of leaflets distributed by classmates, teachers and parents who yearned for them, and patiently explained their questions. Despite the strong sunshine, the volunteers still work tirelessly and stick to their posts.
To be improved:
1. The demand of community residents, including psychological stress, temperament measurement and interpersonal relationship, was not fully considered in the selection of measurement scale. These three scales are aimed at college students to some extent, so people may not be very interested;
2. Because some community residents are sensitive to the word mental health, it has also become a major difficulty for us to carry out activities;
3. The production of mental health knowledge leaflets is a bit hasty, and it is not so attractive in content and typesetting, so when preparing for activities in the future, you must be fully prepared;
In short, the activity was generally successful, and our team members not only got the happiness of being volunteers, but also gained a lot in explaining psychological knowledge.
Summary of social practice activities of associations 2 In order to better implement the cooperation between xx Jiang City and xx Jiang Normal University, give full play to the advantages of college students and let students "go out of campus, repay the society and experience life", our mathematics department responded to the call of the Youth League Committee of our college to carry out social practice activities in Donghua Garden Association in xx Jiang City.
At the same time, in order to better understand the situation of the community, make our activities more in line with the residents' requirements and close to their lives, let us enter the Donghuayuan community in a planned, organized and in-depth manner. On March 25th, 20xx, our department conducted a questionnaire survey on social activities of "Sijin Community" in Donghuayuan Community.
According to the feedback from community residents, we conducted detailed statistics and analysis, and the statistical results are as follows:
96.6% residents support college students to enter the community service, and 3.4% residents say it doesn't matter; Among the residents supported, 20% are workers, 20% are intellectuals, 20% are retirees, 8.3% are government workers, 6.6% are self-employed or private entrepreneurs, and the remaining 8.3% are people from other occupations.
Residents' education level accounts for 25% from junior high school, 25% from senior high school, 20% from undergraduate course, 18.3% from junior college and 8.3% from primary school.
At present, Donghuayuan community provides pension services, medical and health care services, community safety services and environmental greening services. Community residents want college students to provide youth services, cultural and entertainment services and elderly services, accounting for 38.3% and 26.6% respectively. The rest of the services they want are environmental greening services, convenience and benefit services and help to neighborhood committees.
The students in the community are mainly primary school students, 5 1.7% residents want to give individual counseling to their children, and 48.5% residents want to teach collectively.
Investigation and analysis:
Through investigation, we found that community residents especially support college students to serve in the community and welcome us very much. Through this survey, we know the expectations of the society for our college students, and also determine the direction and focus of serving the community residents. Summary of community social practice activities 4 Some time ago, I participated in the volunteer activity of "XX District Senior Voice Singing Finals" organized by Qichuang Family Comprehensive Organization. This volunteer activity has brought me deep feelings and great touches, because it is the first time to carry out activities directly with social workers, to see their working methods with their own eyes and feel their working attitude. As a student majoring in social work, this experience provided me with another perspective to observe social workers, understand social workers and go deep into social workers.
At 8: 30 that day, six of our volunteers-students from different schools in different regions and people from the community-gathered at the gate of the CUHK campus, and then went to the CUHK Social Work Department to bring materials to prepare for the afternoon competition. In the next two hours, several of our volunteers are responsible for taking care of the materials in the studio-CUHK graduate activity room. They chatted with each other and became familiar with each other, sharing their past experiences and feelings as volunteers. It was not until after lunch that our work really began. Volunteers are divided into several groups, each of which is headed by a social worker, and the division of labor is coordinated. But it took more than an hour to hang a few big posters, and each group leader had different opinions on the location and method. After hanging them, they were taken down and hung in different positions, and only after hanging them did they remember how to put them away. Near the beginning, the work is in a hurry and the division of labor is gradually clear and orderly. After the opening ceremony, except for the necessary maintenance of order, everyone seemed relaxed, and sometimes they took pictures of the old people until the end of the event. After seeing off the contestants, social workers and volunteers began to clean up and pack things again, and it didn't really end successfully until around 6: 30.
Experience is the mother of wisdom. This volunteer activity has experienced a new campus, met different students and social people, got close contact with social workers and gained different experiences ... Let me talk about my deepest feelings first.
1.CUHK Social Work Department has a beautiful environment and creates a relaxed atmosphere.
The layout of CUHK's case studio and group studio is mainly brick red with white as a foil, and there are several coffees outside.
Coffee tables and chairs, the overall feeling is to enter a place of rest and leisure, quite petty bourgeoisie. Several of our students were surprised and expressed their great willingness to work in such an environment. This is my first feeling. Some people may think that volunteering and social work is not a holiday, but I am sightseeing. But I don't think so. What we learned also mentioned the influence of environmental factors on psychology and behavior. The first feeling of customers when they come to the organization is the atmosphere created by the environment. Good environment and facilities can eliminate the tension and anxiety of the case owner, and also create a good working environment for social workers, killing two birds with one stone. The use of a color tone, the arrangement of a desk and chair and a cup of hot tea can all bring different feelings to customers, and the environment plays a very important role.
2. Linking and integrating resources is an important ability of social workers.
In the process of community work, teachers have always stressed that a good social worker is not a omnipotent superman, but a person who can link resources, integrate resources and make use of them. The resources owned by a person or an organization are limited, but the resources of the community and society are abundant. As a social worker, a person should have a global vision and vision, not just in front of him. The singing competition held by Qichuang Family Comprehensive Institute is an activity for the elderly in Haizhu District, which needs enough space, sound, materials and manpower to organize and carry out. Social workers can borrow the studio of CUHK Graduate Activity Center, which is enough to accommodate dozens of teams, 100 people, to solve the venue problem. At the same time, there are product sponsors for the elderly at the scene to support part of the expenses and give souvenirs. Sponsors can take the opportunity to promote products and expand their popularity, and social work organizations can also get more sufficient funds for activities. This is the theory of social exchange, each with its own resources and needs. Especially for businessmen, it is an important skill to understand their goals and persuade them to exchange resources. The understanding of theoretical knowledge is only superficial, but how to operate in practice is also important knowledge.
3. The development model of social work-social workers+volunteers
Why do volunteers and volunteers have to mention it specifically? In fact, volunteers are also a part of resources and human resources, but now the biggest feature of our social work development-social workers and volunteers help each other. I have participated in many volunteer activities and found that most of them are organized and managed by organizations and assisted by recruiting volunteers. Volunteers have become an indispensable part of many general hospitals and NGOs, and some even set up a "Volunteer Management Department". Social workers in China have just started, with a small number but many projects. If we only rely on social workers, the project will be difficult to complete, or it will only become a mere formality. With the improvement of citizens' awareness and spirit of participation in society, it provided a good opportunity for social workers and a platform for volunteers to participate, so it hit it off. However, the mobility and turnover rate of volunteers are very large. In every activity I attend, I see almost all different people. How to retain volunteers in public institutions is also called a "long-standing problem".
3. Social workers should establish a good relationship with the clients, and the service process is two-way.
Although I only greeted the contestants as a volunteer that day, the familiarity and trust between the social worker and the object can still be clearly felt. Every contestant present will warmly greet the social workers they know and talk about "Miss Chen" and "Miss Li" ... The social workers will warmly greet them, "Auntie, what's the status today?" . I always feel that people nowadays don't understand social workers. I didn't expect social workers and clients to be so close and establish a good trust relationship. I feel very positive. Therefore, to be a social worker, we must first open our hearts and actively communicate with others. Only with sincerity and respect can others feel this intention and respond to you. I saw every aunt and uncle dressed beautifully at the scene, and everyone seemed very confident. Their exuberant vitality seems to come from the bottom of my heart and infect everyone on the field. I think we so-called "young people" are not as good as them. They are more like a group of "young people" full of power. This process is two-way, giving others happiness and happiness, and treating others is also a rewarding process.
4. Social workers should have good organization and coordination skills, and social workers are very trained.
No matter how big or small an activity or project is, there must be a process of discussing demand, planning, formulating, implementing and evaluating. In every process, between processes, between social workers, between social workers and volunteers, good organization and coordination skills are needed. During the day's activities, social workers must be clear about their responsibilities, the division of labor and arrangement of each volunteer, and how to solve and coordinate conflicts and unexpected things. A small job detail actually tests the ability of social workers. If the organization and coordination are not good, the efficiency will be low and the mood of team members will become low.
However, in this process, I also found some shortcomings.
1. Volunteers have scattered sources and inconvenient transportation, so they can make full use of local resources and make use of the principle of proximity.
These volunteers come from different schools in different areas. For example, it takes us an hour to go to XX District. For volunteers, traffic has become an obstacle to their participation. Moreover, the day's activities were held on the campus of CUHK, and it happened to be Saturday, so the organization can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students on campus to participate in volunteer service. For the students in our school, we can avoid inconvenient transportation, get familiar with the campus environment, and also publicize activities to let more people watch the games of the elderly. However, only one CUHK student provided us with materials, and none of the volunteers were CUHK students, which puzzled us volunteers. When recruiting volunteers, institutions should consider the location factor and make use of the principle of proximity.
2. There are many people going to work, insufficient organization and coordination, and low efficiency.
There are 8 social workers, 6 volunteers and 4 activity workers/kloc-0. Although social workers have made arrangements and plans for division of labor before, they are still very confused when implementing them. After moving the materials, the volunteers didn't know what to do, so they waited there until someone arranged it. Each group leader has different views on the location and way of hanging several big posters. After hanging it, take it out and hang it in a different position. It is embarrassing and inefficient for volunteers to remember how to put it away after hanging it up. Social workers should be clear about the number of people needed for activities, not as many as possible; At the same time, there must be a specific workflow, otherwise it is "multi-strategy." 14 people made posters, gave gifts, led the show and took photos, and the effect was not very good.
3. Respect volunteers, communicate actively and treat each other sincerely.
Although volunteers should be responsible and obey the guidance and distribution of social workers since they participate in this activity or project, they should pay attention to their tone and attitude in the communication process. Volunteers come with a sense of help and dedication, but if they feel instructed and asked, it will ruin the impression of volunteers. The two sides should communicate with each other on the basis of equality and respect, discuss problems with each other, and use more words such as "trouble" and "please" to make volunteers feel respected.
This volunteer activity really benefited a lot. It can help me understand and associate my future work, expand my career, let me pay attention to what I should do and what I should avoid, and provide a good learning opportunity.
