X-ray, CT, MRI, B-ultrasound, which examination should I choose under what circumstances?

X-ray is a simple way to observe bones, and the price is relatively cheap. If you suspect that there is acute trauma, bone injury, sudden acute pain or uncontrollable chronic pain in limbs, spine and other parts, X-ray will generally be the first choice. In a sense, CT can be said to be an enhanced version of X-ray. If you can't see the X-ray clearly, you may want to choose CT for further examination. Generally, CT examination of important parts such as head, chest and abdomen, spine and pelvis is superior to conventional X-ray.

Diagnosis of chest diseases. CT is of great significance for the diagnosis of pulmonary nodules, swollen lymph nodes and tracheal stenosis, as well as the screening of chest diseases such as lung cancer.
