OHSAS 18000 standard clauses

OHSAS 18000 is an enterprise employee health and safety management system, which is a requirement for enterprises from the perspective of employees. Its purpose is to increase the protection of employees, reduce their occupational hazards and respect their human rights, thus enhancing their loyalty and stability.

OHSAS 18000 standard is closely combined with ISO 14000, and its structure is similar to ISO9000, so the three systems can be implemented together to become an "integrated system" or "integrated system". OHSAS 18000 requires enterprises to identify internal hazards, effectively control major hazards through management schemes, and educate employees on safety at the same time to provide necessary labor protection for employees in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations. Enterprises are also required to establish their own safety policies, safety objectives and indicators, and constantly improve the safety of production through internal inspection.

Through OHSAS 18000 certification, enterprises can avoid "human rights discrimination" in international trade, avoid trade barriers, show concern for employees, form a good corporate culture within enterprises, and make internal communication smoother, thus improving employees' satisfaction, enhancing employees' loyalty and stability, reducing the operating costs of enterprises and meeting the requirements of laws and regulations for safe production.
