It is China's firm position to realize the denuclearization of the peninsula, prevent nuclear proliferation and maintain peace and stability in Northeast Asia. We strongly urge the North Korean side to honor its commitment to denuclearization and to stop taking any action that worsens the situation.
Maintaining peace and stability on the peninsula and in Northeast Asia is in the common interests of all parties***. China will firmly push forward the goal of denuclearization of the peninsula and insist on resolving the peninsula nuclear issue through the framework of the Six-Party Talks.
